50 pounds down in 4 months.

January 13th to May 13th.

If I’m being honest… this journey was more mental than physical.

There was a point where I didn’t recognize myself anymore. I felt uncomfortable, unmotivated, and honestly just tired of starting over again and again. And this time, I knew something had to change not just what I was doing, but how I was showing up for myself.

So I stopped chasing “quick fixes” and gave myself structure.

I got a smart scale and started tracking everything! My weight, body fat, progress over time. Instead of guessing, I wanted to understand my body.

And every week, I would take those results, put them into ChatGPT, and let it guide me on what to eat to actually lose weight while still hitting my protein goals.

It sounds simple, but for me… it gave me direction when I felt lost.

And then I just stayed consistent.

Even when it was boring.
Even when I didn’t feel motivated.
Even when I wanted to quit.

This is what my days looked like:

Breakfast:
Oikos yogurt with chia seeds, protein powder, and berries

Snacks:
Two high-protein snacks (around 20g each)
Usually a protein bar and cheese sticks

Lunch:
5 oz chicken, 1 cup veggies, ½ cup white rice

Dinner:
5 oz salmon and 2 cups of veggies

No extremes. No starving. Just discipline and consistency.

My workouts:
– 3 days of strength training
– 2 days of Pilates
– 45 minutes of cardio after every workout
– At least 7k steps every single day (usually more)

There were so many days I didn’t feel like doing it. Days I was tired, frustrated, or not seeing the scale move the way I wanted.

But I kept going.

And slowly… things started changing.

Not just my body but my mindset, my confidence, the way I show up in my life.

This wasn’t about becoming “perfect.”
It was about proving to myself that I could follow through.

50 pounds later… I’m still not done. But I’m not the same person I was in January either.

If you’re at the beginning of your journey, I promise you this:

You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need to start… and keep showing up.

Even when it’s hard.
Especially when it’s hard.

Because one day, you’ll look back and realize those small, consistent choices changed everything! 🤍

If you’re on your own journey right now, I see you. Keep going. And if this helped you even a little, share it with someone who might need it too 🤍
